RMIT University is the largest higher education institution in Australia, which has an international reputation for providing practical training and comprehensive research. Located in Melbourne’s CBD, the university has several heritage-listed buildings and contemporary architecture that can be the perfect backdrop for Melbourne wedding photography. La Trobe St is one of the most visited places located at the corner of Russell Street and La Trobe Street.
Formerly used as a courthouse, this historic building combines Romanesque style with an ancient British feel for your Melbourne wedding photography. Also, if you are interested in contemporary architectural style, we suggest you the design archive building on Victoria Street, which can be used for a beautiful background in photos. The round mirror rendered wall and the pathway with full height glass on sides can give a modern and artistic feel to wedding photography.
One of the problems with organizing events in this way is that RMIT, as a public university, is usually busy during the week. Therefore, we suggest you to hold ceremonies on weekends. As such, if you are planning to hold your party during the week, it is probably not the best place to take wedding photos. Contact us for more information and advice:
